Idle Junkyard Tycoon is a mobile title by Kolibri Games centered on building a scrap-processing empire.
Serving as Studio Art Director from the project’s inception, I was responsible for defining a visual
identity that felt bold and modern—intentionally evolving the studio's aesthetic while maintaining core brand recognition.
I spearheaded the development of this new creative direction and successfully pitched the vision to management,
securing the necessary buy-in to take the studio’s visual language in a more contemporary direction.
In collaboration with Ahmad Beyrouthi, the talented Lead Artist for the project, I formalized this vision into a comprehensive Art Bible to guide the team and ensure stylistic
consistency.
As the project matured,
I transitioned into a directorial oversight role—empowering the team’s creative execution while maintaining quality through targeted spot-checks.
I am incredibly proud of the art team’s work on this title; together, we delivered a high-fidelity visual experience that set a new internal standard for quality at Kolibri Games.
